Sergio D’Angelo is an Italian DJ and record producer whose career spans almost five decades, from European club culture to international house music production.
His musical journey began in the late 1970s and developed through some of the most influential clubs of the following decades, including Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo, alongside appearances at leading clubs and venues across Italy, Ibiza, Formentera, Basel, Warsaw and Dubai.
As a record producer, D’Angelo has developed a distinctive sound rooted in house, soul, funk and disco, combining his background as a DJ with an enduring focus on musicianship, vocals and songwriting.
A defining moment in his recording career was the collaboration with legendary American soul singer Solomon Burke on I’m So In Love With You.
Throughout his career, Sergio D’Angelo has collaborated with and worked on productions and remixes involving internationally established artists and producers including Kelly Rowland, Cico Cicognani, Andrea Love, Gabry Ponte, DJ Spen, Booker T, Sharon May Linn, Jamie Lewis and Jason Rooney, with remix work including Alex Gaudino feat. Kelly Rowland’s What A Feeling.
His catalogue spans house, soulful house and dance music, reflecting the musical influences that have accompanied his career from the early club years to contemporary productions.
D’Angelo’s productions and remixes have received international club, chart and radio recognition. His remix of Tune In Tokyo’s Dreamer reached #1 on the Traxsource Progressive House chart, while his music has received support from internationally renowned DJs including Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Tony Humphries, Kevin Hedge, Kenny Carpenter and Bob Sinclar.
His productions have also been featured on international radio, including BBC Radio 1 through support from Roger Sanchez, while D’Angelo has collaborated with Radio 105’s InDaKlubb, connecting his recording career with major dance music radio platforms.
Today, Sergio D’Angelo continues to produce and release music, bringing together decades of club culture with contemporary production while remaining deeply connected to the soul, funk and house influences that have defined his musical identity.
